This Saturday August 8th the Indianapolis Rugby Football Club (Indy Impalas) will be sending a select group of players to play a rugby 7s exhibition match at halftime of the Indy Eleven professional soccer match. A big shout out to Old Boy, Terry Rankin who will be refereeing the match.

The team is excited to show off live rugby in front of a stadium of 10,000 plus people and to help continue to grow the sport of rugby in Indiana. The two sevens squads will feature a large number of players who grew up playing in Indiana for the following youth and college teams: Cathedral HS, North Central HS, Brownsburg HS, Arsenal Tech HS, Zionsville HS, HSE/Southeastern HS, Marian HS, Broad Ripple Youth, Indiana University, Purdue University, and Ball State University rugby teams.
